East London's daily newspaper, the Daily Dispatch, has run an article on the new Health Sciences Facility at Walter Sisulu University, on page 3 of the 25 March 2014 edition.

Intsika Architects are the Principal Agents for this exciting new project, built for the Department of Higher Education and Training. It will be constructed at the Nelson Mandela Academic Hospital, in Mthatha, Eastern Cape.

On 24 March 2014, Walter Sisulu University hosted a Ground Breaking Ceremony in honour of the new Faculty of Health Sciences facility that Intsika Architects, as a part of CIBA Consortium, have designed. This new facility is in close proximity to the existing Nelson Mandela Academic Hospital and Health Resource Centre. The Masterplan for this project has been designed to accommodated and educate 2000 mediacl students at the Mthatha Campus, in the Eastern Cape.
